Welcome To

St Giles on the Heath Community Speedwatch

Our Community Speedwatch team is made up of local volunteers who care about keeping our village safe, calm, and enjoyable for everyone. Working alongside the police, we monitor traffic speeds through St Giles on the Heath, helping to raise awareness and encourage drivers to slow down.

It’s a simple idea with a big impact: by being visible, proactive, and community-led, Speedwatch helps reduce speeding, supports safer walking and cycling, and makes our roads feel more secure for residents of all ages.

Volunteers often say how rewarding it feels to actively contribute to the well-being of the village—plus, it’s a great way to meet neighbours and work together toward something positive.

If you’re passionate about road safety, enjoy being part of a team, or just want to help make St Giles on the Heath an even safer place to live, Community Speedwatch is a friendly and meaningful way to get involved. Join in and help us keep our village safe, one check at a time!
